Welcome to Fredericksburg Supports our Wounded Warriors
For well over 200 years, the members of our Armed Forces have given their time their energy, their lives, and their limbs to protect and preserve the security or this great country. Since September 11, 2001, they have been called upon repeatedly to leave their families behind and risk their lives in far off places, so the rest of us may be safe and secure at home.
Like all Americans, we in Fredericksburg, Texas, know how much we owe these brave men and women and their families. To show our appreciation , we began offering the wounded warriors at Brooke Army Medical Center, Audie Murphy Veterans Memorial Hospital, and Fort Hood's Warrior Transition Brigade, a "Day on the Town" with their families. For more information on our efforts, please visit our "About Us" page.
We have had three wonderful outings so far and are well along in planning for our next "Day on the Town" on November 7, 2009 (see the "Upcoming Events" page). We plan to host events such as this twice a year for as long as the need is there. You'll find pictures of past event in our Photo Gallery.
We encourage you to visit our "Sponsors" page where you will find information about our event sponsors, those generous businesses and individuals who make these events possible. If you should find yourself in one of their stores or businesses, please thank them for their support of the Wounded Warriors
We hope you will look around the website to learn more about us. If you would like to be involved or just make a donation, please check our "How to Help" page.
